Inquisitor : It is a plug-in that displays search results, as you type in the (browser's built-in) search box.It was previously available only for safari, now IE and firefox users can also enjoy it .It also includes feature to auto-complete a query and provide suggestion as you type.It displays results from either google or yahoo, as per your choice.
One can add more search engines to it,but inquisitor doesn't uses them for search-while-typing.Inquisitor is a part of Yahoo! .

Peers - Instant Search : It is an addon which works for firefox only.It has features similar to those in inquisitor, but provides an additional facility to search from address bar,search results are shown next to history and bookmarks in the "awesome" bar.
